The Growth of Internet Retailing: Implications and Strategies for the Specialty Toy Industry presents the findings and conclusions of a research project commissioned by the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) and undertaken by Stacy Mitchell, senior researcher with the Institute for Local Self‐Reliance (ILSR).

The research project's purpose was to examine the growth of internet retailing and the challenges e‐commerce creates for specialty toy manufacturers and retailers, and to explore best practices that would help ensure the long‐term viability and prosperity of the specialty toy industry.
