ASTRA is requesting nominations from membership for toys to be considered for awarding 2010 ASTRA Best Toys for Kids. This list of award-winning toys, which will be supported by our retailers and circulated to local and national media in the fall, is intended to heighten consumer awareness of the value of creative, open-ended play and the role that independent, locally owned toy stores play in providing children quality playthings that promote happy, healthy, productive childhoods.
This is a call to all members - manufacturers, reps, and retailers – to nominate engaging, innovative, and significant toys that will turn heads, create buzz, and drive traffic. The final selection will be made by a two-stage vote of retailers, from which the top toys will be chosen.
